About Me

My name is Samina Allie and I am an accredited Chartered Counselling psychologist (EMDR) and certified coach with experience of working within a number of therapeutic modalities, I endeavour to utilise therapeutic tools that best suit your needs after a detailed assessment. I have over 20 years experience in the NHS providing evidence based therapies and providing effective interventions for adults.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR) is a treatment technique involving the movement of your eyes in specific directions whilst processing traumatic events & memories.

Compassion Focused Therapy

Compassion Focused Therapy is used to help develop your confidence, self-acceptance and comfort. It is used to help understand the gravity of self-criticism, shame and break you away from that mindset.

Coaching

Coaching focuses on the enhancement of an individual's performance, well-being and achievements.

I provide a range of therapy services tailored to individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Techniques, and Stress Management. Each session is personalised to address specific concerns and promote overall well-being.

How do I schedule an appointment?

Scheduling an appointment is easy. Simply fill out the contact form with the required credentials and I will aim to call or email you as soon as possible so we can arrange the most suitable times for you. I strive to accommodate your schedule and provide prompt assistance.

What can I expect during a therapy session?

During a therapy session, you can expect a safe and confidential environment where you can openly discuss your thoughts and feelings. I will listen attentively, offer guidance, and work collaboratively with you to explore solutions and promote personal growth.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes! I offer a free 15 minute consultation which allows myself to understand your circumstances and lay out a plan and schedule for our appointments. 

How qualified are you/How much experience do you have?

I have a BSC in Human Psychology, MSC & Post MSC in Counselling Psychology as well as 20+ years experience working within the NHS.
